[ it's Dr. Grumpus, bothering everybody about medical crap again! ]
Now that we have two medical officers awake and have recently returned from an alien planet, basic check-ups will be re-implemented. Check-ups will be BASIC: a P-HYMN-1.A scan, check on bracelet, and basic questions. These are mandatory for all crew members. There are only a handful of us, it is small ship, do not make me come and find you.
There is no set schedule for check-ups yet, as the moment I set schedule, it will inevitably have to be changed thanks to an off-planet visit or emotional manipulation from giant space alien or whatever will be thrown at us. Needless to say, after any ship-wide event affecting all or multiple members of the crew, you will at least undergo basic once-over.
As always, feel free to ask myself or Dr. Baizhu for assistance should you develop pains, unexplained symptoms, or deviance from the norm.
I also would like to thank crew members for continued assistance with the quarantine process involved in providing medicine to Captain Drake. Anyone who wishes to join that roster, please reply here.
I hope that is all. Please do not do anything that gives me cause to make shipwide announcement.

Thank you. You will be the first I will call if we have any hesitant patients.
That being said, when would be a good time to give you a quick scan?

For their part... Rin's response is prompt but unenthusiastic. Isn't it nice to be appreciated?]
Understood, Doctor Hilbert. I have additional data to deliver on medication effectiveness.

Good to hear. If you want to deliver data in person, I can meet wherever you are.

Sample processing in the Hangar.
[They even send a more specific location marker, for one of the sides, sequestered from the larger space with the shuttles.] PPE not required.

[ And then, about ten or so minutes later, Hilbert makes his way to the hanger. He clears his throat a little, just to tell Rin he's there, before continuing, ]
Should take only minute or so of your time. Please tell me when you have reached stopping point in sample processing.

So hey, don't mind Hilbert as he leaves the medical bay and starts prowling the ship, trying to find where the fuck Wolfwood might be. ]
no subject
faraday cagerepair chamber in the guts of the ship, so good luck finding him! He could be anywhere, on any deck. He could be in the walls, under the flooring, hell, he could have suited up and be clinging to the outside of the ship making repairs out there!Or Hilbert could check the roster for Drake's medication and note that Wolfwood's in quarantine in his quarters, stuck there for another (checks watch) three hours. ]
no subject
Wolfwood's got to leave eventually. And when he does? Hilbert will just instantly scan him with that P-HYMN-1.A scanner, no questions asked, no permission given. Asking to take someone's vitals is for chumps. ]

yeah, it's definitely one of those things. ]
I can help with the medication
[ can he, though? only one way to find out. ]

Meet me in medical bay. I will explain the procedure and put you on the roster.

[ if nothing else, he manages to make it there without having second thoughts—which is good, because having to send another message like hey man sorry I changed my mind I'm too scared would have been pretty humiliating.
there are only like ten people awake on this ship. literally everyone would know him as That Guy. it's the last thing he needs.
it does make it a lot easier to find the exact person you're looking for when the crew is so microscopic, though. when he arrives at the med bay shortly after, he looks stiff and uncomfortable—or maybe he always looks like that?
it's a little of both. ]
Alright. What do I need to know?
[ let's just get this shit over with. ]

Process of administrating medicine is easy. Obviously I cannot do live demonstration, but unless you have any questions, can walk you through the steps.
[ Hilbert is calm, slightly grumpy, business as usual with his tone. ]

[He was super glad this was happening regularly again. especially what with the bubbles and not knowing if they had contagions.]
Do we have any word on possible psych evals? I'm just going to admit that this trip might be getting to me a little bit, and there's no point hiding that.

[ Dr. Emerwen, who had to be re-introduced into stasis due to cryogenics problems. ]
But if you wish to talk, I will listen.

Honestly, I'm just going to ask you this. You been having any weirdass flashbacks you don't remember?
no subject
I believe this is something best talked about in person. Meet me in medical wing at nearest convenience.

I figure routine can be the same. Initial check-up now, follow-up when something odd inevitably happens next.
